#TBT: Hip Hop Couture showcases urban culture trends

By Benita Ozoude

Students gathered on Friday, April 10 in the Student Activities Center auditorium to watch the annual spring fashion show presented by the University of Texas at Austin organization Hip Hop Couture called “Couture 365.” The theme of the show was “Styling every day of the year,” and models wore different clothes that complemented each of the four seasons. The show featured clothes from local Austin designers and UT alumni. Hip Hop Couture is well known for encouraging others to embrace and take part of the growing urban culture. The organization desires to show that the urban culture is fun and exciting, not something that should be categorized with negative attributes. Check out ORANGE's photo recap of the show.
